One of the things I've been working this year is adding more maternity gowns to my client closet. I want my Pensacola, FL, Orange Beach, AL, and surrounding areas photography sessions to be a wonderful experience for my clients. Providing moms-to-be with access to stunning maternity dresses for use in their Pensacola area Maternity Sessions is just one of the ways I'm doing that.
I've received nothing but glowing reviews from every client who's had the pleasure of wearing one of these dresses. Not only do they fit a variety of body sizes and shapes, they're just plain comfortable to wear!
I've received SUCH positive reviews that I'm looking to add more dresses in a variety of styles and colors so that every mom has the opportunity to be photographed in the dress that perfectly suits her.
Introducing Stock the Closet - Maternity Portrait Sessions.
This is an amazing new program that benefits both the client and the photographer!
I have a Wish List of fabulous, affordable Maternity Gowns that I would love to add to my collection. How does that benefit you? I'm glad you asked!
Click here to see the dresses on my Wish List.
Order the gown from my list that you'd LOVE to use during your Maternity session.
Wear that gown during your Pensacola, Orange Beach, Perdido Key, etc Maternity Portrait Photography session, and afterwards, turn it and the receipt in to me for credit towards your session fee!

There's something extraordinarily special about documenting a family's first journey to parenthood. This is exactly why I offer "Watch Me Grow" baby plans - to offer an affordable option for my clients to have professional portraits taken during their pregnancy, when their little one is a newborn, and on through baby's first year.
Their son, Thales, was born at 40 weeks and 1 day, and from what I hear, Ana rocked that 14 hour labor. I had the absolute pleasure of taking his newborn portraits at their home in north Pensacola when he was 6 days old.
He was, and is, an absolute doll baby and completely rocked his session!
These mamas were absolutely smitten with their new addition.
I'll leave you with what I think is the BEST thing about "Watch Me Grow" baby plans - continuity. If you look back, you'll see that the some quilt Ana is laying on in her maternity session was used as a basket stuffer for Thales' newborn session.
I was also able to take a stylized approach at duplicating Ana's favorite picture from her maternity session during their newborn session. What a difference 4 weeks makes. The picture on the right was taken exactly 28 days after the one on the left.
A new year is upon us and I am so excited about what is to come with my little photography business! Everyday I hear parents (first time parents especially) wanting to make sure they're documenting baby's first year - capturing those precious milestones. And that's exactly what my "Watch Me Grow" baby plans were created to do! In order to provide Pensacola area parents affordable options to have baby's first year professional photographed, I've created 3 separate baby plans ranging from mommy's Maternity Portrait session through baby's 1 year/ cake smash pictures.
Oh, and did I mention that these sessions take place in your home or location of your choosing? No packing up baby and gear!
I bring everything to you!

If you know me, you know I LOVE animals! My intent when I first headed to Auburn University was a pre-vet BS followed by vet school. Alas, that was not to be – but my love of animals has remained.
Over the years, I’ve happily incorporated client’s pets (first babies) into both family portrait sessions and newborn portrait sessions. So, when Victoria asked me if we could include their dogs in their Pensacola Beach maternity session, I replied with an enthusiastic yes! Then I set about finding a dog-friendly beach for their session. Thank goodness for Pensacola Beach offering two dog parks! Not only that, on that windy afternoon, we had those pristine white sands almost entirely to ourselves!
How cute are those bandanas – “Big Brother” and “Big Sister”? I think this baby girl is going to have 2 awesome guardians!
I had such a good time photographing this couple and, since they signed up for one of my Watch Me Grow baby plans, I am looking forward to seeing them again in February when they welcome their little girl!
I love maternity portrait sessions – almost as much as I love newborn portrait sessions.
But the BEST is when a client books me to photograph their Maternity Portrait and Newborn Portrait Session! I love these two sessions so much that I even made them into a package deal. The Watch me Grow - Bump to Baby Package is a perfect way for Pensacola area mommys-to-be to combine their maternity photography and newborn photography sessions and save a little money.
I especially love maternity sessions with first-time parents-to-be. It’s extra special getting to play a tiny part in their excitement and anticipation of what’s to come!
Courtney and Robert were no different. Not only were they excited about the upcoming birth of their first baby – they had made the decision to not find out the sex until birth! They seemed to do OK with not knowing, but the suspense was killing me.
Courtney first heard about Finding Beauty in the Ordinary Photography through her doula, Amber with Belly to Cradle, LLC who I’m honored to work with. And, thanks in part to Amber, we all got to spend a some extra time together when I photographed Courtney’s final Prenatal session with Belly to Cradle, LLC. So, when Amber messaged me that Courtney was in labor and they were headed to the hospital, I waited on pins and needles to hear how the labor when and whether I’d be taking newborn portraits of a baby girl or a baby boy. I’d already placed my bet that we were going to have a baby boy – and I’m proud to say that I was correct!
Much to his parent’s surprise, Owen graced the world with his presence a full week before his due date in a startlingly speedy fashion!
To say his parents are smitten would be the understatement of the year!
I always make it a point to ask the parents if there are any special items they’d like me to use during baby’s session. Living in a military town, oftentimes one of those special items is a small part of mommy or daddy’s uniform. Owen got to have pictures in daddy’s hat as well as in the colors of his parent’s Alma Mater – Texas A&M.
Since Owen decided he wanted to be awake for the first 2 hours of his session, we did a lot of lifestyle newborn posing. I loved capturing Courtney and Robert cuddling up with their new bundle of joy. And getting their pups in a shot was just icing on the cake for this animal-loving photographer!
And, after all that, little man did finally tucker out for me...
