I'm sure many of you have asked yourselves the following question: "Do I need professional family portraits?"
I'm going to tell you the truth.
No. You don't need them.
Having photos of your family taken by a professional won't put food on your table, it won't provide you with a tax break, and it won't give your life purpose. But you know what? You should want professional family portraits!
Look in your photo albums, look on your walls, heck, scroll through the gallery on your phone. How many pictures do you have with ALL of you in them? Three? One? Zero? Most likely, you won't run out of fingers counting how many pictures you have with everyone in them.
That makes me sad! Doesn't it make you sad?
I know, I know... you'll have them taken after you lose those last few pounds, or once Susie gets her braces off, or after Johnny's accidental hair cut grows out, or after any of a million other little reasons. But that's crazy! Your need your family's picture captured today! We both know that something else will come up after you lose those few pounds, Susie's teeth are finally straight, and Johnny's hair looks more socially acceptable, and then another year will have gone by with no family portraits.
This is who you are today! This is who your kids are today!
Don't you want to be able to look back in a year, ten years, thirty years and see everyone's smiling faces and remember this moment in your life?
