This fall, I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to photograph quite a few newborn boys and girls across the greater Pensacola area. I’ve been so blessed, that I’ve fallen way behind on my blogging. But, that’s about to change! My “season of newborns” began with 10 day old Emily. This little bit slept like a CHAMP through pretty much her entire session! She even slept through pictures with her 2 big sisters … And the family dog! As an “on-location” photographer, I love always try to find the best lit room in the house to use for on-site newborn portraits. In some homes, there just isn’t much natural light – this is why I always bring studio lighting with me – just in case. But, these clients had gorgeous, natural light in the kiddo’s playroom. Luckily, Emily’s sweet big sisters allowed me to take over their playroom for a couple hours. I also LOVE getting to be the first photographer to capture portraits of the new family all together!
