Tuesday evening I had the pleasure of helping out a fellow Savvy Sister by photographing her merchandise for her local business. Blue Prints of the Coast specialize in "Apparel & goods for Gulf Coast locals. Each item is custom designed to celebrate life on the Gulf Coast making every item unique." The owner, Kate Hendrickson, was a dream to work with, and she talked several of her friends into coming down to Seville to model for the shoot. She and I both agreed that a company specializing in Pensacola clothing needed an obvious Pensacola locale for the backdrop.
What's the main rule for any photographer shooting on location? You can't be afraid to get a little bit run over! For some of these shots, I shot from the middle of the road in order to get the light just right. I'm happy to report we all went home unscathed!
