![]() Sometimes, I all you can do is assume that fate must have had a hand in causing a session to be scheduled at a particular day and time. And if that’s true, on May 11th, fate gave us a phenomenal sunset portrait session on the jetties at Alabama Point in Orange Beach, AL. I was initially contacted by the Smith family over a month ago about booking a session to have professional beach portraits taken in Orange Beach, AL of their 18 month old as well as some family portraits. After several weeks of calendar balancing (they’re a busy family with overlapping schedules) and 2 different cases of sick kids (first theirs and then mine), we finally made it happen. And oh my was it ever worth the wait! My clients may not ask for it, but I always try to get a picture of just mom and dad. I know that my husband and I rarely ever get a picture together and those that we do have tend to be selfies. I love Alabama Point at sunset. Actually, I love Alabama Point at any time of day. It has everything in Orange Beach, AL that I love – the sea, sand, jetties, and sand dunes!
