Details

Session fees include the time and talent of the photographer as well as the edited, high resolution digital images from your session as detailed in each package. A retainer fee of 30% the package price is required to hold the date and time of your session. The remaining balance will be due by the start of your session.

All sessions are on-location. What's that mean? It means I bring everything to you or our agreed upon location!
Newborn Portraits - Newborn sessions can be held in your home or even at a shaded outdoor location. I bring everything, props, blankets, lighting - everything to you. Before your session you'll receive a questionnaire allowing you to let me know any specific requests you have and will give you the opportunity to let me know what if any props you'll be providing.
Children's Portraits - Though usually the most challenging, children are my most favorite subjects to photograph (just ask my own kids)! The main things to consider when we're planning your child's photography session is what time of day your kiddo is happiest. The second most important thing to remember is that a full child who's had a good nap, is MUCH easier to photograph than a hungry, sleepy one! Also, I tend to bring a sucker or Pez or something for me to use as a thank you to the child for being such a great subject. I'll double check that this is ok with you beforehand.
Just remember, the more go with the flow you are, the better the session will go. I have kids of my own, I get that children can be difficult to photograph. I've got this!
Family Portraits - Family portraits are a great way for me to capture the true dynamic of your family. Is your daughter "daddy's girl" or does your middle son have a real connection with the new baby? Let me know because those are special connections we definitely want to capture. And guess what mom, I get it, you want to look slimmer (don't we all), but you NEED to be in these pictures too. I cannot be the only one who wishes she had more pictures of herself with the kids.
Maternity Portraits - It's time to show off that beautiful belly! I was adamantly against having maternity pictures while I was pregnant. Now, 2 years later, man I wish I'd had them taken. Pregnant women are beautiful! Your body is doing something absolutely amazing and you should capture those memories.
I have several various maternity gowns available for your use and, with a little advance notice, I can usually provide specific colors. I also LOVE photographing in water and cannot wait to get a beautiful, pregnant momma-to-be in the gulf for a session.

FAQs

  • Weather - What if it rains? Here on the gulf coast, we have some super unpredictable weather and I'm happy to say I've only had to change a session date once. Don't worry, I'll keep a close watch on the weather and stay in contact with you day-of.
  • Change of Date - What if you need to change your date? A change of date wihtout forfeiting your retainer is allowed with at least seven days notice.
  • When will my pictures be ready? - My usual turn around time is fourteen days or less. I also do my best to have a sneak peek up within 24 hours of your session.
