I had the privilege of photographing a fun, extended family session on the peaceful beaches of Perdido Key, Florida. The quiet beach was the perfect location for this memorable family photography session, with its soft white sands and breezy, overcast skies. Despite the wind and clouds, the mood during this extended family photography session was nothing short of magical.
The wind added a dynamic, natural element to the photos, gently tousling hair and creating movement in the family’s clothing, which added to the energy of the session. Anytime I photograph a large group, I do my best to grab an individual portrait of each kiddo, pictures of each sibling group, and a photo of each couple without their children. Over the years, I've found that, for many couples, short of the occasional selfie, their last portrait without their children in it was taken at their wedding. I make it my mission to change that!
