It is also meant to inform and provide resources for parents who have lost children due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, stillbirths, birth defects, SIDS, and other causes.””

I am 1 in 4. And there are so, so many more of us who live in silence.
That's where my Rainbow Mama/ Rainbow Baby Project came in. In early 2019, I began the planning stages to design a group photography session to showcase some of the amazing women who'd experienced this indescribable loss. I location-scouted and began expanding my Client Closet. I wanted to ensure I had not only enough gowns but gowns in a rainbow of colors for a group photography session to honor the angel babies who couldn't stay and the rainbow babies who followed the storm.
In August 2019, I put out my first model call for moms of rainbow babies and the response I received was amazing! In 2022 and 2023, I once again asked for "Rainbow Mamas" interested in a group photography session to bring attention to Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month.
Each of the amazing women below has experienced the loss of a pregnancy (or pregnancies).
Some of them were pregnant with their rainbow baby. Some of them were holding their rainbow baby. Some of them were doing both.
Their stories matter. Your story matters.

This year's 2024 Rainbow Maternity and Rainbow Baby Group Photography session will take place in Pensacola on a Saturday evening in late September. I'm currently talking with another local photographer about collaborating to make this the best year yet. Stay tuned.
